We put our son in private school when we were stationed in Oklahoma. K and 1st grade were horrible. We couldn't afford it but it was worth it, having some say in his education.

We had my kid pick out a folder to use as the homework folder. All completed homework went into that folder and the kid was supposed to open it in every class, every day. It worked about 50% of the time. Good luck!

It's ok to be upset and angry about the car and situation. Take a moment, grieve, have some ice cream, grieve and let it go. Staying angry and sad isn't good for your health- mental and physical. Have more ice cream. Things will turn around for you. 💚💜💚💜

AI vision of my new retirement house. the garage is on the right, no grass. Think crazy english garden. The gable on the left is actually the left side of the house, AI wasn't cooperating. :)

House is craftsman style with a porch in sage green board and batten on the front with cedar accents at the gables. The rest of the house will be regular siding. The shingles under the gable on the right will be slightly darker green color.

AI version of the back of the house. Lots of windows. front is single story with walkout basement. 1800 sf. The plan is if I need adult supervision later, I have room to get somebody to live with me. Basement will be self sustaining- own kitchen and laundry room.

If the real thing is half as good as this, I will be happy.

Signed the contract with my new builder. Construction close is on 21 Oct, the same day as the end of the trial for my indicted builder. A serendipitous moment? Walked the lot with the builder so we could get on the same page. He pointed out the driveway wouldn't really work unless I paid more and

I think she does but reggie wants none of that. 🤣 I've tried getting both of them to play with the same toy but ziggy gets all hissy and finds a different toy to bat around the house. They've done really well together. The usual hissing and growling but nothing physical.

I was sent home from hospital with an open wound. Hubby was supposed to help by putting new dressing on it. He saw my innards and some blood and got woozy so I had to do it myself. 🤣🥰🤣 He was a big guy, but a teddy bear that didn't like real gore.

Day 4 of kitty integration with parental supervision. Ziggy follows reggie everywhere. I think she wants to play but her way of showing it.... running up to reggie and stopping 4 inches away isnt convincing reggie. 🤣 Still hissing and growling but no flying fur. So far, so good. #minterland

They went from the living room to the deck. When ziggy was getting to be too much, we sidetracked her with churu. Both were very good. Ziggy seems to know reggie doesn't want to play yet. Reggie would either sit or lay and growl and hiss. She's not happy but they're not fighting. Woo hoo.

#minterland great news! Ziggy and reggie met without screens today for about 2 hours. Growls and hisses but no flying fur. Sat on the deck and watched ziggy wiggle butt and run up to reggie. She stops short of reggie and stares at her. Reggie hisses and growls. This is great progress.
