Poll modeling shows Doug Ford's PCs could win another majority government on just 34% of the vote. First-past-the-post bails out unpopular governments while the rest of us suffer. We need proportional representation so governments always represent a broad majority.
A screenshot of a post by Polling Canada (@CanadianPolling) with the text "PC Majority on these numbers" above a table displaying political party polling projections. The table lists party percentages, projected seats, and seat ranges: Green Party (GRN) at 5%, 2 seats (range 2-2); New Democratic Party (NDP) at 27%, 33 seats (range 27-41); Liberal Party (LIB) at 26%, 20 seats (range 13-29); Progressive Conservative Party (PC) at 34%, 66 seats (range 52-78); and Others (OTH) at 8%, 3 seats (range 2-4). Below the table is a quoted post from Polling Canada detailing Ontario Provincial Polling results and percentage changes from the 2025 election: PCPO at 34% (-9), ONDP at 27% (+8), OLP at 26% (-4), GPO at 5% (-), and Others at 8%. The polling metadata notes Mainstreet, Sept 29, 2026, a sample size of n=1062, a margin of error of 2.8%, and IVR methodology, ending with a link to check out more details on @338Canada.

These traitorous goofs offered up our FRESH WATER????? Full exposé on these idiot Alberta separatists here: archive.is/rhGUj
Excerpt from the Globe article reads: “A Globe and Mail investigation has found that Republican political operatives were on the ground in Alberta this year to assist the separatist campaign in its bid to leave Canada, while harbouring their own aspirations for the province to secede.
The Globe also found that when Alberta separatist leaders went to Washington to meet with the U.S. State Department, they offered up key assets from the province's resource portfolio, including access to fresh water and royalties on crude oil, in exchange for help transitioning to independence.
Through interviews with The Globe on both sides of the border, people involved in politics, the corporate sector and Alberta's pursuit of separatism have described persistent efforts by figures in the U.S. administration and conservative political establishment to support groups seeking American expansionism and independence for Alberta.”

Holy shit! Alberta separatists offered the U.S. oil royalties in exchange for swapping the loonie for U.S. dollars. Royalties go to the resource owner. They pitched the U.S. on sending Alberta’s oil to the U.S. and paying them for the privilege. This is like paying your boss to go to work!

Anyway, take from this reaction what you will!!!!! This is a Conservative prime minister. Please, please consider whether you **actually** support his **policies** or just wish the narrative he's weaving around them was reality (it's not).
Former Alberta Premier (and former conservative cabinet minsiter) Jason Kenney posts, in reaction to Carney saying Canada must be the globe's oil supplier:

"Take a bow, Alberta WE WON!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Every line of this is what we Albertans have been saying for years!

Total repudiation of the Trudeau-Guilbault energy policy!

“Global oil demand will remain in the tens of millions of barrels a day for decades to come.

“So the question is: who will be the world’s trusted supplier of oil for years to come. It should be us. It must be Canada.”
