Every week I keep wondering how Lanterns tops itself, and now we're finally at the episode that critics have been raving about for weeks! This show rules, and everyone who still insists that it "disrespects Hal Jordan" can go kick rocks.

I know it's easy to say this in hindsight, especially after what happened with Jonathan Majors. But seeing those additional scenes for Avengers: Endgame has me coming to the conclusion that the Multiverse Saga should have always been building up to Doctor Doom.

The best thing about Lanterns so far is that it's finding the right balance between taking the mythology seriously, while not being overly serious in tone. This episode may have been fairly thin on "plot," but we learn quite a bit about the characters, and the (alleged) main threat of the season.
