AIF 2026: Iron Boy has an off-balance in the best way possible mix of drama and comedy about a young boy going through a story of growing up and dealing with the drama in his family’s life. It wraps it all up in a wonderful heart felt experience that shows you the power of storytelling in animation.

While its marketing hasn’t been great and the first half is a bit too hyperactive, Forgotten Island is a fantastic movie that has lovingly complex storytelling about family, love, and the memories help define our connections with people. With vibrant animation and off the wall humor, it’s a blast!

Jim Queen is a chaotic wild romp that is a blast from start to finish. You have to be a grifty content creator or a stick in the thickest mud to be pissed off at this movie. It's full of laughs, biting satire, jokes, and commentary about the gay community from top to bottom. I had a blast!

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender is a pretty solid 4/5 shonen action franchise-style film with some decent ideas that it doesn't really dive into or let the other non Aang characters do much in the plot. Great action and stunning animation do a lot of the heavy lifting. Screw ChatGPT.

Toy Story 5 is the weakest of the mainline movies for me. It's at best, fine. At worst, it's a mess. While I adore certain elements like Jessie being the lead and Conan as Smartypants, the plot needed to be tighter, and a lot of characters felt superfluous. #animationsky #animationisfilm #filmsky
