I didn’t get to RR East because of the rain. I lucked into an almost windless day at NB, and crushed a 7 down accordingly. 😎 Benson could be a great track for kids and beginners but the park clearly does not give two shits. It’s a shame.

#discgolf courses #121-123 came on a quick trip I had to make to the Columbia Gorge. North Bonneville is a fun park course with an incredible view. Benson State Park is a neglected, half-hearted 9 hole not worth a stop other than course bagging. West Rooster Rock was a kinda fun and very wet 3/5.

I went to see Dylan in Lake Placid in ‘97 or so. Natalie was the opening act. I knew her from the radio but wasn’t otherwise familiar. It was one of the best, most engaging sets I’ve ever experienced. She was barefoot, band was clicking, I fell straight in love. Didn’t even know most of the songs.

Played my 999th round of #discgolf tracked on UDisc today. Started using the app in May of 2016. Got the day off tomorrow and trying to decide where to play the 1,000th round. I was thinking a new course would be fun but don’t feel like a long drive. So, back to the first course I logged on UDisc!

I also have always faithfully followed the Brew Crew, the team of my Father, who provided a summer soundtrack to my youth by having Bob Uecker on the radio in the backyard. I totally pay attention all year and not only for the playoffs. (I did go to a game in 2024) <inarticulate beer noises>

I like XT in that general speed range. I’ve had an Aviar3 and a Whale in XT. Feels a little grippier and lasts a little longer than DX. The DX plastic really varies year to year though.
