Absolutely. Just part of the fun of OA ☹️. My worst week ever was the first. When things are bad I use neoprene wraps at night that seems to help. I’ve never been able to identify a trigger for the bad spells. They just happen. Good luck!

The joys of modern camping… The only trouble is once you take a step forward, it’s very hard to go back. Fridges being a case in point. I remember the joys of food floating inin eskies.

Yeah I get that, but there’s cheap imported ones and then decent ones. The newer ones are so much quieter. It was at Wilpenna on a freezing night that we saw a roo siting beside a fire warming up, like one of the family.

We once had a thunderstorm and hail at Uluṟu. Amazing waterfalls everywhere! But a hint of rain on the darling river run and it was like an ice skating rink and incredibly dangerous
