Took the 240 question 12Axes test, seems about right 🤔

Haven’t done a #caturday post in a while. Smokee and Bear. Was testing out new to me Mamiya RZ67. Film used was well expired (over 30 years old) black and white ORWO 125, shot at around iso 50. Not sure of how it was stored, but this film roll held up pretty well!

School’s out. Got inspired by buddy of mine’s work and found myself putzing around with an Insta360 action cam in role of a wide angle, urban/street camera. Not typically the type of device I’d use and not the focal lengths I’d use the most either. Can’t complain though - this little thing is fun.

Books #3-5: John Varley’s “Gaean” trilogy. Discovered his works last year, with four books of the “Eight Worlds” series - enjoyed them tremendously, so decided to continue the journey. Gaea was a trip for certain!

Book #2. Octavia E Butler “Parable of the Talents” Intense and at times uncomfortable read. Excellent.

Started my 2026 reading year strong: with Octavia E Butler’s “Parable of the Sower”. Excellent book. Too real.

Some more random frames from that roll. Interesting film, I dig it. Camera does need seals replaced and some cleanup tho.

Really like how @bazzite.gg looks and feels. Hardware optimizations are top notch, found all my hardware out of the box. Preforms very well. Sharing some desktop shots, along with these "Space Trucking" wallpapers I use. Taken on Mamiya RB67 and a very expired Kodak Portra 400NC 220 film.

Haven’t used Linux in probably solid 10 or 11 years. Been getting annoyed with Windows 11 recently (sold my MacBook a while back, landed back in the land of Microsoft). Figured may as well throw Linux Mint on laptop’s second SSD and see where this journey would take me.

Got up this meme on other socials :) Was thinking, I can pass on IBIS too. Landed on D750 (and eventually D780), with 24-120mm f/4. Solid stuff. Convenient combo. Used to be a massive prime lens hardliner too 😬

Love it honestly - small package of the camera, fun to shoot. Would probably upgrade the focusing screen to on with some guidelines (have a plain one with split focus now)

Forgot to add - Bronica ETR-Si. Swapped through all 3 lenses there - 40mm f/4, 75mm PE f/2.8 and 150mm f/4. Did fudge up exposure on some frames - didn’t realize that the battery in camera was on its last legs. Learning experience!
