Little timer saver, if you set up your sound library as one big database in the Reaper Media Explorer, you can skip waiting for it to scan all the files every time you want to look through it. (esp useful the larger the library gets)

I'm going to play with it some more over the next week, but if you're looking for an upgrade from Reaper's stock EQ, I'd recommend the js effect ReEQ - Parametric Equaliser by Nitsuj. It's just got a nice resizable interface, and it's free on the forums.

I really like the idea of MetaSounds (Especially the ease of having a fully featured audio system built into UE) But in practice, I just can't imagine trying to maintain an audio system built like a modular synth across a whole project.
