I think of this every time I see Dude Wipes: The small founding team was behind me in line for four hours at Franklin BBQ in Austin in 2015 and they were super chill. We chatted off and on the whole time and they gave me many cold beers from their cooler starting at 8am. We had a great time.

Today during our Trout in the Classroom macroinvertebrate sampling we had something very cool happen. Dozens of tiny BWOs emerged right in our sample bins! It was great to be able to show the students this happening in realtime.

Video tip: If you need portrait orientation/9:16 phone video, choose New > App Preview in iMovie. I'm glad that works, but it is wild that we need to use workarounds in Apple's pre-installed video editing app to edit videos from iPhones in their standard orientation.

I put in a reverse osmosis water filter system under the sink today. Took about 90 minutes, which included collecting my tools, drilling a hole, and following the instructions. I picked the iSpring RCC7AK. Working nicely so far and we can taste the difference in a side-by-side comparison.
