Life’s getting a bit more crap here if you are a person from an ethnic minority 🧵

Fabulous post by @randomwalker.bsky.social & Sayash raising the same concern many of us have about whether we're on the right track with how we're using AI for science. Everyone should read it, take a deep breath & think through the implications. www.aisnakeoil.com/p/could-ai-s...

If the vows aren’t your own, does that make the marriage null and void?

@official-uom.bsky.social is offering 3-year postdoc fellowships to mark its 200th anniversary. If you already have a strong idea on the links between urban form/housing quality and health, and need a mentor, I’m happy to chat. Particularly interested in innovative methods & novel evidence.

The over-reliance on one region in Canada, France and the United Kingdom to create more than a third of knowledge-intensive employment is striking:

What should we do when access frictions between disabled people emerge with new active travel infrastructure like bus stop bypasses? Is removing them really the best solution? I propose collective access making instead. Available open access here: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10....
Bus stop bypass where the cycle track goes behind a bus stop between the bus stop and the pavement and there is a zebra crossing over the cycle lane.

As usual, an excellent line-up of speakers at the @thetcpa.bsky.social annual conference. Excited to share the stage as a panelist and dive into some big conversations about the future of planning & health #TCPA2024
