A telegram has been issued on behalf of Pope Leo XIV expressing his sorrow and spiritual support after the flooding that hit Nepal. Caritas Nepal have deployed teams to respond and assess the most immediate needs.

Speaking on Sunday, Pope Leo XIV said that he often prays for the Democratic Republic of Congo as the country responds to the Ebola epidemic. We are working with local partners to provide prevention information, hygiene kits, protective equipment and more.
