Someone explain to me why it’s “e-bike lithium batteries” that are so dangerous when there are plenty of cars, phones, tablets, etc around with lithium batteries? Am I missing something?

Just Gogh for a ride. A nighttime ride can be quite an amazing experience & so beautiful in a different way. Seeing the city lit up, being on quiet darkened pathways while people shop, sit in restaurants or at home as you glide by them. It’s a whole other world on two wheels. 😁🌃🌌 #yycbike #cycling

I hear ya. Riding at a leisurely pace you definitely notice things much more. I’m guilty of riding at a performance pace sometimes & not seeing the details. Slowing down is always nice too. 🙂👍🏻

Looks like a lovely route. I took a quick look at the greenway website. Plenty of heritage sites, restaurants, coffee shops & a few bars along the route. Make sure to grab a pint when you’re done to celebrate a beautiful ride. 😁👍🏻

In his open letter he uses a lot of disparaging words to describe the riders of Critical Mass. & yet experience has shown that those who disparage & demean others show their true character, level of empathy & personal intelligence level. Bow River Pathway north side between 14 St and 10 St NW looks almost ready to open. The middle concrete divider separates walking from wheeling. Wider left side will get a yellow line to make it 2way for bikes. The turns are designed to slow riders down before the intersection. #yycBike #Calgary
