Each story for this YA Romance anthology should be 4, 6, or 8 pages, be safe for work (not explicit), and contain at least one kiss. Beyond that, the stories may be of any genre (scifi, fantasy, slice of life, etc.). Intended audience is 16+. Open to artists and writers!

So grateful to have a set of absolutely gorgeous #scifi comic book covers for MythFall Issue 2 by @margueritesauvage.bsky.social, Allie Preswick, and @boaillustration.bsky.social . Can't wait to see how they look in Metal. #comicsky #indiecomics

A comic book cover for MythFall Issue 2 with bright saturated colors. A man in with goggles in a wheelchair sits in front of a woman in a bomber jacket. A man in a long sleeved shirt stands behind them. All three figures look toward the viewer invitingly. They are floating in space over a portrait of a young man in an oversized hoodie looking moodily toward the viewer. The background has planets and stars.

A comic book cover for MythFall Issue 2 featuring an attractive woman with a bob haircut wearing a towel and applying lipstick in her bathroom mirror while taking a video call. The style of the bathroom is futuristic and in the reflection of the mirror we can see the skyline of an alien city.

A comic book cover for MythFall styled like the movie poster for Star Wars: A New Hope. A woman in a bomber jacket points a blaster towards the sky. A young man kneels in front of her, pointing toward the ground. Two men are running up a sand dune towards them. In the background is a starfield with ships arcing up toward a space station. The shadowy bust of a person with long hair looms over the scene.

Shout out to the creative team on MythFall Issue 2! Allie Preswick, @haleyroselyon.com, @peculiarplanets.com and @illusclaire.bsky.social for their incredible work bringing this book to life.

A comic book panel of a young man and a woman in futuristic clothes. The woman holds a floating portable camera with SFX lettering that says, "BZZZZ." A narration panel reads "That ended up being what Kira needed the most."

A comic book panel of a woman in a futuristic bomber jacket posing a mopey young man in an oversized hoodie next to a carboard cut out of himself. The woman says, "You have to take a picture with it." A narration panel reads "which kept Kira safe...for a while, anyway."

Conventions can be hit or miss for a lot of indie creators. Our first few were definitely flops, but we've gotten A LOT better at making small and medium cons work for us. We turned a profit at 10 /11 conventions this year, and the only exception was breakeven. Here's how we pitch.

Sharing the variant covers for Bound By Words by @fellhound.bsky.social, @alterici.bsky.social, Stacey Lee, and @deuxdel.bsky.social . Each one is so lovely in it's own way, it's hard to choose a favorite. 💖 Back it here to get one: www.backerkit.com/c/projects/a... - @atticdoormedia.bsky.social

Two women reach for each other through a page as papers flutter around them symbolizing how they fell in love through letters.

Two women embracing stare intensely at the viewer from a swirl of magic. One reaches toward the viewer, inviting them to in.

Two women stand together, arm in arm, floating in the air, on a background of puffy clouds Their pose is similar to a pose from the film Howl's Moving Castle. They are surrounded by letters stamped with sealing wax scattered in the wind.
