The way I understood it watching the Verbatim edit on YT, the US company set up by Verbatim paid the pollster JL partner’s invoices directly, not refund Reform.. had they done the latter, it would have meant a direct undeniable financial transaction from a foreign donor to Reform UK

Passing the spitball … maybe UK regulators should be resourced properly, guaranteed independence, and have protective clauses that require a supermajority in both Houses for changes to their mandate, operations and funding, and be protected against statutory instruments & political appointees.

Don’t forget the switch to Signal at a key point - to take discussing the ‘off the books’ project to the next level. Why switch to an enhanced e2e secure communications platform unless you want to avoid future scrutiny of possible lawbreaking activity? 🔥 🔥 🔥

@sianushka.bsky.social might be worth taking a fresh look at the abuse of EU funds to finance UK polls in the runup to Brexit that directly benefitted Farage’s UKIP via the ‘Institute of Direct Democracy in Europe’ that IIRC was led by Farage’s current partner/then mistress.

Since James Orr preferred switching to the Signal chat platform to continue discussing ‘off the books’/clandestine-esque projects, Reform’s use of that channel should be forensically investigated for potential illegality.

Often pollster have the ‘in’ with sympathetic reporters/news desks and offer clients media outreach as part of the package - especially if it’s a shoe-in with a national that claims the poll as their own. Did the reporting clearly state Reform was involved in the media sell-in?

A bit like Donnie’s ‘grabbing them by the p***y’ locker room talk defense huh. Only Farage’s bestie was found liable for sexual abuse, and Farage’s top team faciliated payments to the pollster that delivered work instructed by Reform. (‘Talk’ stops being ‘just talk’ when turned into actions)

@hignfy.bsky.social 2027 GCSE math questions: 1. How many £40 bottles of Nigel Farage’s favoured Piper-Heidsieck champagne are needed to turn 70,000 pints of Guinness into Black Velvet (1:1 ratio) 2. How many Reform/JL Partner polls would donors have to pay to equal the cost of champagne needed?

Would be interesting to compare government policy towards university funding in the UK against Germany and Netherlands since 2010. It seems to me that the root cause of the current crisis dates back to policy changes towards university funding and student finance created 15-ish years ago.

wagging her finger: “That wasn’t very nice!” Naughty George shrugged, licked himself clean and purred. Wasn’t his fault his poor mummy went along with it, was it? Soon the sun shone again, the blackberries grew sweet, and everyone sat down to tea with jam and cream. All was well on Blackberry Farm.

Once upon a time on Blackberry Farm, naughty George asked his mummy Fiona to carry shiny coins from his magic crypto tree to daddy Nige and uncle Dicky. Now mummy faces jail time if mr policeman thinks mummy was George’s money mule. “Naughty George!” scolded Joy, the Blackberry farmer’s daughter,
Front cover of a Blackberry Farm children literature story, titled ‘Naughty George’. The main picture shows a pencil drawing of George Cottrell in the artistic style of the original Blackberry Farm books. The original character ‘Naughty George’ was a mischievous farm cat.

I would laugh so hard if posh George causes his mummy to end up in jail for being her son’s money mule. George, Tice, Farage too obvs. Their whole organisation’s financials over the past 12 years should be meticulously investigated, as well as their links with Russia and foreign funding streams.

What are the energy conversion losses, e.g turning the electrical energy in thermal storage, and back into useable energy? How does the thermal energy degrade over days/weeks? And how replicable is it for the UK context, given district heating is rare and extremely complex to retrofit?

Firstly, in the Grimm tale, the Pied Piper was not of the same ilk as the rats. Secondly, our present-day Pied piper attracted the undesirables to Clacton, not luring them away from it. Finally, the Pied piper didn’t claim lifelong protective security for a one-off encounter with a milkshake.
