5 months in and I can no longer see where i started, why I waited. The indecision and fear is gone. My life is rich, colourful, vibrant. I was told 2 days ago by someone I barely knew that I was born to be a woman. I feel it. I see her.

I started HRT 3 months ago. In that time i have met more amazing people than I thought possible. All hiding in plain sight or in their safe hidyholes, only making themselves known on forums and meetups.

Trans women are women. When you degrade transfems, you degrade women. When you compare women (regardless of trans or not) to men unfavourably or as a 'joke', that's misogyny. Bad actors are going to transvestigate women for the foreseeable future. Is that really what you want to be part of?!

Hrt takes time. Change takes time. Something i learnt when i no longer wanted to die is how much living you have left to do. Give yourself grace and bring your loved ones on the journey with you. The only too late is when you're in the ground, so live while you're alive (and sleep when you're dead)

Everyone is so new at this and most of it is their own self image. I can tell people it's all going to be ok a million times and that it takes time but they have to fight their own demons. Most of the people who post pictures here and on twitter are already gorgeous.
