Somethings in my regular menu feel lumped together, like the 'information' menu that has gameplay mechanics a little unorganized and filed together. It's a little too much of a file explorer for me, I wish everything was just integrated into one menu in the Adventure Journal

There is also no free zoom/scroll on the map, you can only look at it from a birds eye view and then scroll over the different locations. The fact that I am also colorblind makes it difficult to see which characters are at which locations on the map.

As they said on @intothecast.bsky.social , it's on the razors edge of being too much. But what pushes me over the edge is the differences in my Adventure Journal, and my Menu information and my Map. Sometimes I feel I have to dig in a filing cabinet just to see what my unit's abilities are.

Fire Emblem is finally in my grasp and I'm 20 hours in. I have to say the amount of systems that are jammed into this game are cool but wow it's SO much. I don't mind them, a lot of them I like but I feel like the UI is not optimized enough to show me the concise information I need.

It's a game that knows it's Identity and mechanics, especially for even the first entry. In AC1 there is a specific mechanic that I won't spoil just in case (also not sure if it comes up in 4) that is incredibly interesting from both lore and fromsoft DNA perspective. Good hunting, Raven!!!
