Finally finished all part 1 for the Flame Lords, and the current total playtime is sitting at 137 hours. I'm about to restart Leda's path as I said, I think now I can optimize her route. To think we still have 2 more parts to go in this game. 😅 #FireEmblem #FortuneWeave #Gaming

We'll probably start this #kdrama tonight as it's only 8 episodes. I'm excited for it because the summary reminds of my other favourite #jdrama, #MidnightTaxi

010

Ah yes, of course #YourPersonalTaxi is not available in my Netflix region. This fucked up regional #kdrama licensing is why I'd never feel guilty of outsourcing my own materials.

170

Yeah I'm done. 3 episodes litmus test has passed and this #jdrama comes across as nothing more than pretentious nonsensical random scenes that just annoys me. I can handle artsy film just fine, but I don't even know what this is supposed to be than just a colossal waste of time. #Sai

I'm on episode 2 and still doesn't get this show. Yes, it's artistic, yes it's unsettling, yes it's disturbing. But more so, I just feel annoyed by the first two episodes. Did they forget to include a narrative at all? is this just an experimental #jdrama? 🤨 This feels like a waste of time. #Sai

I am so confused with this #jdrama, but I have to say I'm intrigued. #Sai

#GraveyardKeeper2 by all intents and purposes is a respectable upgrade to the first game. it's just unfortunate that with all the QoL improvements being added, I still need to mod by game to make it even remotely fun to play. Some of the game design decisions make no sense. #Gaming.

120

It's really, really good. And for how simple the entire premise is, this anime has no business to be this good. 😅

010

Kinda sad that S1 is over, but I'm excited to start the manga and see where the story goes. Absolutely amazing, I'm well fed with this anime. #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWIthYou #スーパーの裏でヤニ吸うふたり

I was looking for human closeness that becomes so natural and meaningful that romance, when it eventually arrives, feels almost like the final vocabulary for something that has already existed for a long time.❤️

100

This anime perfectly explains why I finally realized that negative spaces and Slow-burn romance is such a lethal combo for me. I was not necessarily looking for romance itself.

100

And that's so much more potent than two people realizing they're attracted and then beginning to learn how to be close. This is them learning how to be close before they've even decided what kind of closeness it is.

100

By the time the romance is consciously recognized, these two people might already know how to care for each other.

100

And I think this explains why the final episode detonates like a well-timed emotional nuke for me. I wasn't being overwhelmed because the anime is dangling romance in front of me. I was ovewhelmed because the foundation underneath the eventual romance is already exceptionally intimate.

100

It's the difference between: "I want to be intimate with you.” and "Your comfort matters to me.” The second one hits me harder because it doesn't ask for anything in return. It's affection expressed as instinct.

100

Yamada doesn't need to light his cigarette because she is trying to get closer to him. Sasaki doesn't wrap the scarf around her because he's trying to advance their relationship. They do it because this has become how they treat each other. That's an entirely different emotional frequency.

100

Neither needs to be interpreted as seduction. They're simply two people who have become comfortable enough with each other that caring for the other person happens naturally. And that actually makes it more intense. Because carecore has no romantic obligation attached to it.

100

Instead, the relationship is currently built around mutual care, trust, comfort, and emotional safety. The scarf comes from Sasaki noticing she's cold and giving her warmth. The lighter comes from Yamada instinctively returning that care by taking care of him while he's right there.

100

It's carecore intimacy before romantic intimacy. If the story had established, “These two are attracted to each other,” then the scarf and cigarette lighter would read as romantic gestures. Cute, intimate, perhaps swoony, but still operating inside a familiar romantic framework.

100

They become attentive first. They become important to each other first. They become emotionally safe with each other first. Whether those feelings eventually become romance almost feels secondary.

100

Romance is usually presented as the thing that gives two people permission to behave this way. We're attracted to each other, therefore we become more attentive, more physically affectionate, more invested in one another. This series reverses it.

100

None of that requires romantic intent. And that's precisely why it feels so intimate.

100

He helps without making a performance out of it. Yamada notices when Sasaki is bottling something up, pushes him when he's retreating, enjoys making him laugh, remembers what he likes, and wants him to tell her about his life.

100

They've simply reached the point where they know each other's rhythms well enough that their natural instinct to care for another person starts showing up. Sasaki worries when Tayama is cold. He notices when she's upset. He remembers things.

100

I think this is why this anime narrative is so addictive to me. You can't even properly call what they have a romance yet, because the story hasn't needed to make it one. It's care before romance, my own definition of what I called carecore.

100

That's reciprocal caretaking in its most understated form. He warms her. She lights his cigarette. Neither person comments on the intimacy of what just happened. Neither one says, “This feels romantic.” They simply do something for each other.

CRAB. AND. MISO. RAMEN. And somehow it feels more intimate than a kiss would have. 😂

100

Not even some big emotional declaration. She points at his scarf, tells him to wrap it around her, he immediately does it, she lights his cigarette while he is literally leaning into her space, and then they sit there talking about crab and miso ramen.

Finished season 1 for this anime and that final episode still made me grin like an idiot. Not a confession. Not a kiss. Not even some big emotional declaration. Just two reciprocal intimacy that exploded like a well-timed emotional nuke. #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWIthYou #スーパーの裏でヤニ吸うふたり

I genuinely can't remember the last time I'm this excited for a new non-mmo FF game. ❤️ #FinalFantasyResonance #Gaming

When your love language is "touch" but also when you're freaking out enough about potentially losing your small pocket of connections that you almost come clean on who you really are. 😅 #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWIthYou #スーパーの裏でヤニ吸うふたり

Rei @byrei.ink · 30/09/2026

This #anime is basically just #MyMister without all the angst, and a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly slow burn romance compared to the kdrama. 😅 Jinushi is just addictively amazing in writing the slow burn. #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWithYou

Rei @byrei.ink · 30/09/2026

I'm so glad they still make high-toxicity build unkillable (and keep the cosmetic look) and even more lethal with the new exploding poison talent. I mean, are you even playing a Witcher if you're not perpetually intoxicated? 😂 #TheWitcher3Remastered #Gaming

030

But overall I'm satisfied with this remake, Trails RPG universe is really still unchallenged on how well interconnected the entire narrative is. Still one of my favourite gaming session.

000

Some of the final scenes kinda lost it's dramatic mystery considering everything is answered in the next games after, and I wish some scenes were also got modernized (in the time Luciola was talking, they could've pulled her up, I even had Zin as the 4th party member ffs).

101

End-credit 2nd Chapter. 11 years later, Loewe's heartbreak still hurts (in 4k this time), and the story still made me smile. Trails is a fucking timeless JRPG. ❤️

Wow...they really went all out to animate the heart-fluttering scenes, that was the best eyes I've seen in any anime this year yet...😍 #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWithYou

050

It's just a matter of time before they make a live-action drama out of this series, the leads chemistries are sooo good. 🥰

Well that does it, I'm ordering the entire manga that are already published right now. Dense, kind oji-san romance is the trope I never knew I needed. 😅 #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWithYou #Anime

120

Season 1 for this #anime aired from July 9th to September 24th. I waited 82 days (while avoiding all spoilers) to start, so I could binge the entire 12 episodes and it was worth it.❤️ Just started ep.1 and I've been smiling on the last 15m on how cute this is. #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWithYou

130

Ooooh, this looks good. Added to my watchlist, thanks!

Either way, this was a great #kdrama even coming from someone who was an absolute stranger to this form of performance art before. I never heard of Pansori or Yeoseong Gukgeuk troupe before this, and I always love learning new things accidentally from something I just watched as a hobby. ❤️

The production team deliberately kept the source stories while inventing much of the actual stage drama because detailed scripts for many historical women's gukgeuk productions no longer survive

So the kdrama essentially gave you one famous classic plus three newly constructed pieces of women's gukgeuk that reimagined older Korean legends.

- Babo wa Gongju is a Jeongnyeon theatrical creation built from the Ondal and Pyeonggang legend. - Ssangtap Jeonseol is a Jeongnyeon theatrical creation built from the Asadal and Asanyeo legend.
