This #anime is basically just #MyMister without all the angst, and a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly slow burn romance compared to the kdrama. 😅 Jinushi is just addictively amazing in writing the slow burn. #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWithYou

I'm so glad they still make high-toxicity build unkillable (and keep the cosmetic look) and even more lethal with the new exploding poison talent. I mean, are you even playing a Witcher if you're not perpetually intoxicated? 😂 #TheWitcher3Remastered #Gaming

End-credit 2nd Chapter. 11 years later, Loewe's heartbreak still hurts (in 4k this time), and the story still made me smile. Trails is a fucking timeless JRPG. ❤️

Season 1 for this #anime aired from July 9th to September 24th. I waited 82 days (while avoiding all spoilers) to start, so I could binge the entire 12 episodes and it was worth it.❤️ Just started ep.1 and I've been smiling on the last 15m on how cute this is. #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWithYou

If you're ever going to pick up #Jeongyeon:TheStarIsBorn, I've read up on the 4 major plays being used throughout this entire #kdrama and I'll summarize it here. This kdrama is really good at weaving the actual stage plays into the overall narrative of each of their actors. So hopefully this helps.🧵

Finally hit the Final Chapter in this #JRPG. And knowing Trails game, the final dungeon will take another ~12 hours to complete. That's tomorrow's Rei problem, playing this in tandem with Fortune Weave is why I took a month off for these releases. ❤️ #TrailsInTheSky2ndChapter #Gaming

We finished #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn, this was genuinely a fun watch with great cast of characters. And of course, my newfound obsession with Woo Da-vi and also new appreciation on yeoseong gukgeuk that I never knew before. My favourite part from this #kdrama was definitely the actual stage play.

Hong Joo-ran's arc was probably the best character growth I ever seen in this #kdrama, while reminding you that not every "happy ending" is a fairy tale. Woo Da-vi somehow managed to balance the tenderness and turmoils required for her characters to made her story hurts. #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn

The last two penultimate episodes are relentless, what are these back to back heartbreak events??? I'm dehydrated now. #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn #KDrama

Rei @byrei.ink · 26/09/2026

My god, Oh Kyung-hwa was probably on screen for 2 episodes out of 12. But the magnitude of her character effect to the story's emotional core is significant. Her portrayal of Yun Jeong-ja was the fertile ground that allows Jeong-yeon's emotional story to bloom.❤️ #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn #KDrama

After Dietrich is done, I'll start Theodora's path and probably redo Leda's after. I finished Leda, but kinda feels like it was sub-optimal as I was still learning the game. Now that I know more, I think I can optimize her path. I'll be playing Fortune Weave till next year. 😂 #FireEmblem #Gaming

I hate this #kdrama costume so much when they're on their home winter uniforms. They are soooo comically distracting, unflattering, and I'm really surprised that their costume departments didn't pick up on it. Always ruined emotional moments for me.😓 #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn

I'm not going to dignify New York Times by quoting their new TV lists on my feed, because the notion of someone still using that list for anything drama related is beyond me. So here's the same reactions I had with their "first timer #kdrama" list 10 months ago.

We gonna finish Cai's route today and then start Dietrich (saving my queen, Theodora for last as she's the best).❤️ Clocking in at 72 hours so far, I called it right. Fortune's Weave is shaping up to be the biggest Fire Emblem game of the series and I love every seconds of it. #Gaming

Holy fuck the ending of ep.8 gave me a serious Amadeus vibe; probably the few 80s films that still etched its impression on me. There's a thin line between genius and insanity and this #kdrama just terrifyingly captured it... #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn

As a theatre kid in middle and highschool, the last episode really pissed me off. If you want be in the spotlight, audition for one of the primary roles. Don't kid yourself for smaller role then break the flow of the show during live performance. #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn #kdrama

Nice, Cai's path introduces new features, new game mechanic, and new classes. It seems like each Flame Lords' path will introduce something new to the Fortune's Weave. Feels like I'm playing 4 different Fire Emblem games and it's part 1. I love it. #Gaming

Rei @byrei.ink · 22/09/2026

I love Kang So-bok more and more with each episode; It's still a business for her, but Ra Mi-ran played that duality of being the troupe director/educator, and the "mother" to these girls with exceptional tenderness that never feel excessive or grotesque. ❤️ #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn #kdrama

061

Rei @byrei.ink · 22/09/2026

Alright, I'm gonna play Cai's path next. After the dark depressing Leda's story, we probably need a "Saturday morning cartoon" story to balance it out. Also "Cai's armies are literal kids, so you can't travel far from the capital" sounds like a nice change. 😂 #FireEmblem:FortuneWeave #Gaming

020

Rei @byrei.ink · 22/09/2026

Finished Leda part 1, that one Flame Lord took roughly 42 hours to complete as I tried to do everything; what a story❤️. The rest of the Flame Lords probably will be much faster with Boon of Salvation rewards I unlocked. Which path should I play next, I wonder. #FireEmblem:FortuneWeave #Gaming

Mother, maybe instead of just yelling at your daughter? explain to her why you don't want her to be an artist? ffs... I want to empathize with her, but her character is one of the most grating one for me. You went for "you're not my daughter, anymore!" really? #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn #Kdrama

I'm so happy. 🥰 Fortune's Weave is not just the best #FireEmblem game I've played in my entire gaming life so far, but it's also the biggest, the densest, and the best game of the franchise for Switch 2. Absolutely worth the wait, especially after the lukewarm Engage. What a gem!!

We finished #LoveinSync, and this one gave me a weird viewing experience. I spotted the structural problems almost immediately, especially for an 8 episode #kdrama with 45-50 minute episodes. Yet somehow, by the end, I was still completely invested in these two leads and wanted their happiness.

Rei @byrei.ink · 17/09/2026

Aion 2 performance is absolute garbage; Don't use UE5 if you can't optimize them. 🤨 Yes, I'm saying this after coming from Dawnwalker that used US5 as well and performs flawlessly on my PC.

I know this #kdrama won't pass my Romcom Rubrik cube with its myriad of flaws, but somehow I'm invested in the two leads happiness because they carried this script so hard. So I'm going to finish this story. But they just also added noble idiocy by episode 7, it's really testing me. 😅 #LoveInSync

If this release time is correct, that means I can actually play the latest Fire Emblem tonight. But I'll approach this as usual, get my 8 hours sleep early, and set my alarm for 2AM Because there's still nothing that beats a gaming session when everything else is still quiet and be fully awake. ❤️

I knew it! Give this woman a full 12+ eps. #kdrama canvas already! She oscillates between four different emotions within 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and somehow nailed all of them beautifully. Also this is my first watch ever for Kim Myung-soo, and I really like him here. #LoveInSync

End-credit #TheBloodOfDawnwalker season 1 (at least ending 1 of 6), at day 27. So the time constraint was not that much of an issue after all. That was one hell of a #gaming journey though, it's not as massive as The Witcher 3, but satisfying all the same. Hell of a maiden game, Rebel Wolves. ❤️

I'm genuinely glad to see Kang Min-ah on my screen again after a while, but I also genuinely feel like she's wasted in short from non-major #kdrama like this. She had to portray an apathetic actress who experienced empathy for the first time and she's killing it; My bias aside. #LoveInSync

Rei @byrei.ink · 15/09/2026

Vampire princess Lacra is probably my favourite character of the game. Smart, witty, sarcastic, lethal, beautiful, and her VA did a really good job voicing her. Being an Egyptian, the way she rolled her Rs in some lines is making my heart flutters. 😅 #TheBloodOfDawnwalker #Gaming
