Rei is sooooooooooo busted. 😅 I know Player Avatar supposed to feel powerful in this game series, but they're taking the power fantasy to the next level here. Look at these stats, and I'm only on section 4 Part 3. I wasn't even grinding her, she's a mandatory unit in all battles for part 3.

Oh. My. God. Season 2 of this anime is going to absolutely wreck me in a good way. I can't wait! I have all 7 volumes of the manga keeping me swooned all day till then.🥰 #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWithYou

Yeah ok, I'm in.❤️ I try not to browse a #kdrama summary before I start, so I know nothing about this outside of an overworked employee won a lottery and my Lee Joon-hyuk is in it. But that was a great ep1, this guy is volcanically waiting to erupt and I can't wait to see it. 😂 #TheOrdinaryJackpot

150

Rei @byrei.ink · 10/10/2026

Lee Joon-hyuk is soooo effortlessly charismatic whenever he's in suits, I love him. And to think my first exposure to this guy was as an asshole lawyer in #Stranger 😅 And I found that his #kdrama projects never feel repetitive. #TheOrdinaryJackpot

Rei @byrei.ink · 09/10/2026

This #kdrama part in ep1 really irritates. Of course I know they'll end up together, but they haven't meet each other, why are you super-imposing your leads on episode 1? 🤨 Now the entire romance feels severely manufactured. You're cashing in your romance currency even before I'm invested in it.

120

Rei @byrei.ink · 09/10/2026

Interesting, I was really looking forward to this #kdrama because it's Chae Won-bin first romcom lead; and pairing her with my favourite Canadian Ahn Hyo-seop after she charmed me in Doubt seems like it's going to be a homerun. #SoldOutOnYou

130

Rei @byrei.ink · 08/10/2026

Ah fuck, #MerryBerryLove is not on my usual #kdrama outsourcing platform and I'm not resubbing to Disney+ for this. This might be trickier to find, but challenge accepted.

Intelligent System clearly has a bias on Leda. Best personal story, best starting squads, broken unit with her constant overblaze and spellsongs, and best romance. 😅 Olympia also didn't say no. 😂 #FireEmblem #FortuneWeave #Gaming

Rei @byrei.ink · 06/10/2026

People saying Catania sucks clearly just don't know how to build her. 😅 This knight-lady dodges everything, doubles everything, and clears level 35 undead map with Cleansing Blade like it's a Saturday night. #FireEmblem #FortuneWeave #Gaming

We'll probably start this #kdrama tonight as it's only 8 episodes. I'm excited for it because the summary reminds of my other favourite #jdrama, #MidnightTaxi

010

Rei @byrei.ink · 04/10/2026

Ah yes, of course #YourPersonalTaxi is not available in my Netflix region. This fucked up regional #kdrama licensing is why I'd never feel guilty of outsourcing my own materials.

Finished season 1 for this anime and that final episode still made me grin like an idiot. Not a confession. Not a kiss. Not even some big emotional declaration. Just two reciprocal intimacy that exploded like a well-timed emotional nuke. #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWIthYou #スーパーの裏でヤニ吸うふたり

I'm so glad they still make high-toxicity build unkillable (and keep the cosmetic look) and even more lethal with the new exploding poison talent. I mean, are you even playing a Witcher if you're not perpetually intoxicated? 😂 #TheWitcher3Remastered #Gaming

End-credit 2nd Chapter. 11 years later, Loewe's heartbreak still hurts (in 4k this time), and the story still made me smile. Trails is a fucking timeless JRPG. ❤️

110

Rei @byrei.ink · 29/09/2026

Wow...they really went all out to animate the heart-fluttering scenes, that was the best eyes I've seen in any anime this year yet...😍 #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWithYou

Season 1 for this #anime aired from July 9th to September 24th. I waited 82 days (while avoiding all spoilers) to start, so I could binge the entire 12 episodes and it was worth it.❤️ Just started ep.1 and I've been smiling on the last 15m on how cute this is. #SmokingBehindTheSupermarketWithYou

140

Rei @byrei.ink · 28/09/2026

Anyway, here are the four plays being used throughout the #kdrama (with my summary) that hopefully helps you connect them to the entire narrative. It genuinely made the story so much richer:

110

Rei @byrei.ink · 27/09/2026

Hong Joo-ran's arc was probably the best character growth I ever seen in this #kdrama, while reminding you that not every "happy ending" is a fairy tale. Woo Da-vi somehow managed to balance the tenderness and turmoils required for her characters to made her story hurts. #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn

231

Rei @byrei.ink · 26/09/2026

My god, Oh Kyung-hwa was probably on screen for 2 episodes out of 12. But the magnitude of her character effect to the story's emotional core is significant. Her portrayal of Yun Jeong-ja was the fertile ground that allows Jeong-yeon's emotional story to bloom.❤️ #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn #KDrama

071

Rei @byrei.ink · 26/09/2026

I hate this #kdrama costume so much when they're on their home winter uniforms. They are soooo comically distracting, unflattering, and I'm really surprised that their costume departments didn't pick up on it. Always ruined emotional moments for me.😓 #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn

140

Rei @byrei.ink · 26/09/2026

The farm we adopted our Shiba from just had a new litter and it takes everything in me not to apply and adopt another one. 😫

150

Rei @byrei.ink · 25/09/2026

Holy fuck the ending of ep.8 gave me a serious Amadeus vibe; probably the few 80s films that still etched its impression on me. There's a thin line between genius and insanity and this #kdrama just terrifyingly captured it... #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn

031

Rei @byrei.ink · 23/09/2026

"Leda is a bard, so get used to play her as support" Yeah but Shido Leda is also so much fun to play, that 42 AS growth is no joke.❤️ #FireEmblem #FortuneWeave #Gaming

020

Rei @byrei.ink · 22/09/2026

I love Kang So-bok more and more with each episode; It's still a business for her, but Ra Mi-ran played that duality of being the troupe director/educator, and the "mother" to these girls with exceptional tenderness that never feel excessive or grotesque. ❤️ #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn #kdrama

061

Rei @byrei.ink · 22/09/2026

Alright, I'm gonna play Cai's path next. After the dark depressing Leda's story, we probably need a "Saturday morning cartoon" story to balance it out. Also "Cai's armies are literal kids, so you can't travel far from the capital" sounds like a nice change. 😂 #FireEmblem:FortuneWeave #Gaming

020

Rei @byrei.ink · 21/09/2026

They said 'flirting' in bird tea-time is harder in Fortune's Weave, they didn't say it was impossible. 😂 #FireEmblem #Gaming

050

Rei @byrei.ink · 19/09/2026

Oh yeah, totally noticed her unique visual and smile first before her acting on ep.2 😅 Woo Da-vi is so fine, obviously I have to stalk her IG now. Not a talent crush yet, but she's really pleasant to look at. #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn #KDrama

160

Rei @byrei.ink · 19/09/2026

I'm so happy. 🥰 Fortune's Weave is not just the best #FireEmblem game I've played in my entire gaming life so far, but it's also the biggest, the densest, and the best game of the franchise for Switch 2. Absolutely worth the wait, especially after the lukewarm Engage. What a gem!!

020

Rei @byrei.ink · 18/09/2026

Pavlov'd. #Jeongnyeon:TheStarIsBorn #KDrama

160

Rei @byrei.ink · 17/09/2026

We finished #LoveinSync, and this one gave me a weird viewing experience. I spotted the structural problems almost immediately, especially for an 8 episode #kdrama with 45-50 minute episodes. Yet somehow, by the end, I was still completely invested in these two leads and wanted their happiness.

120

Rei @byrei.ink · 16/09/2026

I knew it! Give this woman a full 12+ eps. #kdrama canvas already! She oscillates between four different emotions within 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and somehow nailed all of them beautifully. Also this is my first watch ever for Kim Myung-soo, and I really like him here. #LoveInSync

130

Rei @byrei.ink · 16/09/2026

End-credit #TheBloodOfDawnwalker season 1 (at least ending 1 of 6), at day 27. So the time constraint was not that much of an issue after all. That was one hell of a #gaming journey though, it's not as massive as The Witcher 3, but satisfying all the same. Hell of a maiden game, Rebel Wolves. ❤️

130

Rei @byrei.ink · 15/09/2026

These skills combo is absolutely broken. 😅 Sword Vamp Coen is ridiculously fun to play, even without his claw. #TheBloodOfDawnwalker #Gaming

130

Rei @byrei.ink · 15/09/2026

I just realized both Coen's romance options are older than him, Anca by 20 years, and Lacra by 200 years. 😅 Noona romance in full effect, guy got game for someone who initially never left his village at all. #TheBloodOfDawnwalker #Gaming

150

Rei @byrei.ink · 15/09/2026

Two more sleeps, and two more gaming days to end-credit Dawnwalker. Actually, one day if I want to start Trails 2 early too. 😫 Should be doable, I'm at the end-game now.

010

Rei @byrei.ink · 15/09/2026

I'm genuinely glad to see Kang Min-ah on my screen again after a while, but I also genuinely feel like she's wasted in short from non-major #kdrama like this. She had to portray an apathetic actress who experienced empathy for the first time and she's killing it; My bias aside. #LoveInSync

180

Rei @byrei.ink · 15/09/2026

Vampire princess Lacra is probably my favourite character of the game. Smart, witty, sarcastic, lethal, beautiful, and her VA did a really good job voicing her. Being an Egyptian, the way she rolled her Rs in some lines is making my heart flutters. 😅 #TheBloodOfDawnwalker #Gaming

150

Rei @byrei.ink · 15/09/2026

And #TheBloodOfDawnwalker also is really good at this since each of the influence web point also their own contained story. Give me more R in that RPG. #Gaming.

020

Rei @byrei.ink · 15/09/2026

JFC...one of the best and most heartbreaking quests in the game is hidden behind a side quest that explores Coen's childhood trauma. Something that most will probably miss because they're too concerned on the native time limit. I genuinely wept on this quest. #TheBloodOfDawnwalker #Gaming

040

Rei @byrei.ink · 14/09/2026

Unlocked Blood Surge ability where Coen boils his enemy's blood and made them explode into an rain of blood. Macabre? yes Absolutely satisfying that it made me smile every time I used it and sees the carnage on my screen? also yes. 😍 #TheBloodOfDawnwalker gets the power fantasy right. #Gaming

1100

Rei @byrei.ink · 14/09/2026

Is it even a proper RPG if it doesn't have an ultimate weapon? #TheBloodOfDawnwalker #Gaming

150

Rei @byrei.ink · 13/09/2026

Ahahaha WTF! I know it's an 8 eps, 45m each short #kdrama, but I refuse to acknowledge this first episode kiss! Ji-an just passed out, not a kiss!. 😅 Also I'm glad to know that Kang Min-ah is still capable of making me lost in her eyes. #LoveInSync

030

Rei @byrei.ink · 13/09/2026

That took a bit longer than I thought, but #Vincenzo is finally immortalized in my Plex #kdrama museum. Complete with the full hour TVIng BTS special that Netflix omitted for some reason; I can't wait to watch this!❤️
