Today my sons completed a central PA rite of passage for them. Climbing to the top of the 1000 Steps outside Mount Union, PA. Quarry workers used to climb those steps every day to get to work. One of my favorite views any where. Worth the climb. #photography #hiking #getoutside to #nature

Every so often I think about the fact that our country accidentally deported someone and the leaders say there’s nothing they can do and we know he’s not just lost in a country but stuck in a prison and our military is not attacking said country and we are not in full revolt and it hurts my soul.

This trail was my baby before I got divorced. I logged countless miles on her. Gentle 6 miles out and back with 500 ft elevation. I cleared the shrubs, cut trees that had fallen, and ran my weed eater. Haven’t been there in a while. Glad someone is taking care of her. #trailrunning #nature

The contempt they have for disabled children is rooted in a mistaken belief that there aren't too many of them. Estimates show that between 1-in-8 and 1-in-5 students in America have some kind of learning disability. There are an awful lot of SPED families out here, and we will *fight* this shit.
