um… i think that’s what his job is HAHA. he’s a defense lawyer and is working on starting his own pro-bono firm he’s used to it, but he doesn’t want to work under someone long term, hence his own firm. he navigates complicated social hierarchies by not making any friends at all lmaoooo

i think after everything he’s been through he wouldn’t actually mind too much he’d lament that it’s not like… a *meaningful* job, but as long as it kept him and his little family afloat and pays for food and necessities, he’s fine with putting his bounty hunting life behind him

a fun one because it really is so dependent on who he’s arguing with with most other mandalorians (e.g. elian and the clones), he’s very ready to spar it out rather than talk it out with zaten … he’ll still bring up sparring because that’s what he’s used to & knows, but … sex is pretty great LOL

his daughter needs him for stability, and that’s forced him to learn how to fight for her, protect her, keep her in his life creita is another one he fights for but for different reasons, actively forgiving him for the things he doesn’t even remember doing (amnesia and all that) & still wanting him

he’s old!! he’s lived a while, and experienced a lot of things. he’s always been on the move, and never had a stable home life. he tends to expect relationships to not last and doesn’t always fight for relationships to keep going his daughter and creita (owned by @ubesnake.bsky.social) changed him

RELATED: relationships are … hard. they need to have a purpose in his life rather than simply Happening. kind of what happens when you grow up as a mercenary and need to suvive his relationship with zaten is new and, frankly, scary because it went past what in his head was “the purpose”

they’ve struggled to create meaningful relationships because they were used for all of their formative years. relationships tend to be transactional, but they yearn for more, something real they love their brothers deeply, but they need to work on actions not always being transactional

skipping a lot of build up: good ending : zaten helps camilo cope better [also time shenanigans prevent the clone wars] & they confess & maybe settle down somewhere bad ending : clone wars happen, zaten gets order 66’ed at the end & camilo doesn’t know, camilo drinks himself to death 😀
