Surefeeder or cat flap? (And honestly, even if they're indoor it's worth chipping them in case of accidents. I used my Surefeeder as a chip reader to make sure my Mouse was my Mouse when I got him back after two months on the lam.)

Heh, I knew there was a reason your Catholic takes got to me. Yay church tradition that literally includes herbology. (I am still unable to recall the official name for August 15, it's herb day dammit.)

Or at least look into accessibility standards and try to DIY. There are checklists for these things - these UK standards are similar to EU ones www.riba.org/work/insight...

Access Audit Handbook checklists

These checklists are to be used in conjunction with The Access Audit Handbook 3e by CAE.

It's called an accessibility audit. The EU recommends them for various new infrastructure, with many NGOs offering the service for a fee, so that's a framework European Worldcons can easily use.

Incidentally after that summary of MCAS symptoms article I started a daily H1 and H2 and I feel *so* much better. Can't wait to show my dermatologist that nope it wasn't rosacea and that's why rosacea meds didn't work on it.

After the Russian invasion in 2008 it was suddenly less than a kilometre from an enemy border. Much less attractive an investment when the Russians can start shooting at any moment :(

It's within range of Russian artillery (from South Osetia). An hour away from the nearest town. They were building a deep sea container port right next door but the funding fell apart during the pandemic. Fantastic swimming spot.

There's a particular series that had a good black cop in book one published in 2019. Book two in 2023 had him face the ACAB including his own and quit by shooting his boss. Like, I could name which post George Floyd coverage informed that, and honestly a good solution.

Seen a lot of people responding to this with “I’m just going to pirate the show,” and I want to gently remind everyone that the central idea in this piece is that there’s no way to engage with the Potter franchise in any capacity that doesn’t benefit Rowling and her bigotry
