Is Kirby Dach even playing? Yes, he is. Just over 4 minutes. Coach has lost confidence in this player.

Early third, Michael Hage has four assists as Michigan leads Alaska 7-2. Hage now has 12 points in four games. A PPG in college hockey is excellent, so find a word for what 12 points in 4 games is.

Every time I see these bizarre goalie interference calls I'm reminded that this play where Price was dragged out of his net by his pad was ruled a legal play youtu.be/yR0mel1Ww_s?...

Are you kidding me lololol Oh man, okay, that was goaltender interference. lolol However, set a standard man. I've seen goalies mauled that it wasn't called. This was the lightest of taps. This league just totally goes by vibe.

I like Struble for a 2nd. Struble has found his plateau. The Preds needed to do this trade. They used their 5-6 pair four minutes last night. Habs can make way for the depth they have. Engstrom Reinbacher and frankly Middlestadt keeps impressing.

14 day for Momtembeault. They got lucky. That looked worse than 14 days ago Lower body injury is all we got as far as what the injury is.

A dominant game for the Montreal Canadiens. If they keep playing like that, they’ll be fine. However, wins are also nice. Here’s the Call Of The Wilde for Global Montreal. globalnews.ca/news/1209325...

Wow. Those 2 shifts. The pace of that was just too much for the Preds. Newhook Kreider and Anderson look like a keeper.

I just saw that injury. That’s not good. That looks like a non-contact injury. A non-contact injury is usually significant.

I sure like Brian's analysis about the #Habs defensive pairings. The way they're structured right now isn't optimal to say the least.

Kreider on the night.... "We were playing pond hockey at times." Yes sir. exactly that. You can't allow that many 2 on 1 and expect to win at the NHL level. Especially, when everyone plays those 2 on 1 with zero structure defensively allowing passes cross ice. brutal D all night

Brian Wilde @bwildemtl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
I'm gonna take the other side on that one guys. The line has all 3 goals. When he goes to the net to make screens, he takes a defender with him. That opens ice for his line mates. Don't think we can criticize a 3 goal night for a line.

Brian Wilde @bwildemtl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Demidov, man, were you going at the end of that power play? He was on the boards. My friend, goals are scored in the middle of the ice. Not at the boards.

Honestly, man, these refs just go it's your turn. I mean that one could have gone the other way too. Whatever lol..... Guess I shouldn't spend the year talking about reffing. I'll bore myself to death.

Brian Wilde @bwildemtl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Oh goodness, that's a shockingly weak call. I'm hearing the explanation from our favourite colour guy, but no, not that at all. If you want to find a penalty on that play, it's likely interference as the defender had no interest at all in going first against big Anderson.

Brian Wilde @bwildemtl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
That line is a mess. Just no idea what kind of hockey they are supposed to play. Danault with them makes no sense. Danault needs to centre a defensive line.
040
Brian Wilde @bwildemtl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Even though that goal didn't count, that hockey did happen, and that hockey is the Canadiens need a second line centre. That second line is doing nothing. Has Demidov touched the puck?

Brian Wilde @bwildemtl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
I'm extremely not impressed with the Canadiens. Obviously, most will cite the score, but beyond that they look horrible on defence with no structure, second on pucks, unable to maintain possession. It's really an abysmal look. Forget the score, the actual hockey is very bad.

Get Dobes out of there. Long season. Let's get Montembeault in there to face some pucks.
