Our cohort had such a full day of discovery at Fairmount Water Works over the weekend. Walking along the banks of the Schuylkill gave us a great vantage point to talk about Philadelphia's river history and get up close to green stormwater infrastructure.
A loose half-circle of people surround an environmental educator (center) in the Water Works' Eagle Pavilion. The Schuylkill River stretches behind them. It is a sunny day.A writer holds up and peers into a tube of brackish water from the Schuylkill River.

Sunday, September 20 kicked off our 9-week Climate Education for Writers program. The energy in this group was incredible! These writers and artists showed up ready to connect, converse, and think creatively about climate resilience.
A group of writers and artists are seated at round tables in a room with many windows, through which you can see trees and water on a gray, overcast day. They are in various attitudes of speaking or listening. At the front of the room is a screen says "What is Climate Resilience?"
