Australian govt suggesting that social media companies have a "digital duty of care" over it's (younger) users. How does this square against the neoliberal shareholder theory everything else operates on? Even more contradictory than usual.

infinite chat as an extension of the infinite scroll is fascinating. a lot of the problems here are around disclosure (of not being a friend, of which sources are used for answers, of sharing transcripts, of privacy policy specifics before purchase). it seems, hopefully, possible to regulate :D
