Finally finished this and have it in working order.

A partially disassembled cast-iron blacksmith drill that dates from approximately 1890.

Hand cranked blacksmith drill fully assembled and oiled, mounted to a post and ready for use.

You gonna think this is really weird, but I have used PB blaster on a wide variety of stuck items. I would use the nozzle spray this around on the rim and let it penetrate in between the two, and then turn upside down and tap on the rim of the big glass gently. Dawn soap will clean it off.

Pick off the web of spray can of PB Blaster branded penetrating oil.

I had a 63 Rambler wagon exactly like this one in 1980. It had 4 different sized tires on it. It cost me 400 bucks. Ran it over Monitor Pass twice that way and didn’t die. It was a phenomenal car. I would buy another in a heartbeat.
