This is dangerous, because even managed and repressed fear is still there, and it will come out in other ways. In some, it will produce depression and anxiety, in others the fear will find other objects - like immigrants, foreign powers, whatever, and especially those who already suffer most.

But looking at what people are saying and posting, most are alone with their fear. Some find escapes in air conned environments and swimming pools, others work for hours, weeks, or months in the heat. People may complain or cope, but hardly anyone is speaking or posting about how they really feel.
