Third time watching #Gameoverse pilot, and oh my god I can't *wait* for more!!! Even my previous criticism yesterday is a wash. I'm falling more and more in love with the characters and world already!

#Gameoverse pilot is pretty good! I do feel the pacing was a little fast, where some moments between lines should have had some space to breathe, but overall, I really liked all that was in the episode! Excited for a full season to be greenlit! I wanna draw some characters :D

Pixel recreation of the game Celeste's cover art, hand pixelled back in like 2020 on a school chromebook. I just found this again and wanted to share with people since it still looks pretty good even six years later!

Rain Volume 7 is out at last. Standard Edition - www.lulu.com/shop/jocelyn... Large Size Edition - www.lulu.com/shop/jocelyn... Digital eBook Edition - www.lulu.com/shop/jocelyn... And here for all Rain Books - www.lulu.com/spotlight/Li... Thank you for your support. It means the world to me. 💜

Hello, everyone. My name is Esther, and I’m from the webcomic, My Impossible Soulmate, by Jocelyn Samara. But I'm not here to talk about my comic today. I'm here to tell you about another comic by the same author.

This is Rain. It's an LGBT+ dramedy that follows the life of a teenage trans girl named Rain, as she attempts to go through her senior year in high school identifying only as herself. The comic that ran from November 2010 to April 2022.

Along the way, the author released physical print books of the story in six books so far. Though the books lack color (due to cost concerns), they each feature at least one bonus chapter exclusive to print. They aren’t essential reading, but they do add extra context and depth to the story and characters.

And finally, as of this very post, Rain Volume 7 is officially available for purchase. In three versions!

There’s the standard Volume 7. It is a 6x9 book, like the other six so far. If you’ve been collecting all along, it’ll fit nicely on your shelf next to the others and complete the rainbow along their spines.

There’s also the Large Size Edition, which came about by accident. But it’s so crisp and made for such a nice read, that we decided to make that an option too! It’s an 8x11 book, which makes it a bit less portable, but perfect for a cozy night in.

And finally, by popular demand for many years, there’s the Digital eBook Edition. This is the only version available in color, and should work on most modern devices.

All three otherwise contain the same content, featuring chapters 39 through 44, completing the main story, as well as the longest bonus chapter across all the books. It's a hefty book at 304 pages! So please simply choose your favorite way to read.

If you’re interested, please scroll down below this comic for all the important links. (And be careful! Make sure you’re ordering the version you want!) Last but not least, please don't worry if you're not financially able to purchase any books right now. Likewise if you're in a position where you feel you might be unsafe ordering LGBT books around nosy family or roommates. Please do what you have to for you.

My Impossible Soulmate will reveal its new chapter cover on April 17th, and the story will resume on April 20th.

Bet you thought this was building up to a gag at the end. Nope. This is literally just an ad. But thank you for taking the time to read it, and I hope you end up getting a book or two. Either way, take care and happy reading. Bye for now!

Badeline or "Part Of You" in Celeste chapter 6. Just the absolute desperation and running away from Madeline, trying her best to push her away after having been discarded, only for it to end with acceptance and coming together as one. It's always been my favorite boss fight in video games.

I was out with friends for new years and some guy sees the drawing I'm making and likes it, gives me $20, and says his favorite Pokemon is Avalugg? And so I drew as quickly as I could Avalugg and that's a commission? I mean thanks! (THAT'S how I get my first commission???)

#juiceyOC25 Day 1: First OC I thought about drawing Sasha, an OC from high school, but then I remember my real first OC's: The Three Little Hotdogs This was back in 2009, I was in second grade. I haven't drawn these guys in 15 years. Original comics in comments, because I still have them

Sketch for Day 1 of O-C-tober. The theme is First OC, and there are three hotdog characters, brothers, standing in pose. The middle one is holding a volleyball, the left one is adorably menacing, and the right one is hunched over and sad.
