I said goodbye to an old friend. No ceremony. No eulogy. I cleaned all the dust off my classic 1994 Raleigh mountain bike that got me through Montana, Utah, Idaho, and Glacier National. Now, it's left unceremoniously at the rear entrance of the Boise Bicycle Project. I'm depressed.

My bike riding days are behind me. It took a lot to give up this relic from another time. Dust is all cleaned off. Just memories now.

The Raleigh bike had no rust, just garage dust after years of hanging on the wall. It's cleaned up and donated. Sad day, really.
