The 2 Line is an important part of a network, but it’s not the only part. The next major ST expansion is the BRT network (Stride) which will give people 33-38 AM peak travel times from Lynnwood to Bellevue. Current is 57 mins.

Two amazing sights, all at one moment: “At nearly the same moment the railcar first entered the I-90 bridge from the Mercer Island side, 11:49 p.m., a thick shower of sparks streaked high above the park, from an apparent meteor.” www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news...

Today’s bridge opening is the third major project to reconnect people and places across State Route 520 in 2024. The other two are the Redmond Technology Station Bridge that links @microsoft.com campuses with light rail and the Overlake Ped Bridge. Also, what are we going to call this new bridge?

A raised crosswalk located in a low density residential Burlington, VT neighborhood. They’re generally quicker, cheaper and easier to build than typical curb ramps - all while ensuring safer motorist behavior and priority for people crossing the street.
Raised crosswalk with well placed drainage Continuous sidewalks give people crossing a clear physical and visual priority, while making it easier to crossRaised crosswalks eliminate the need for complicated and costly curb ramp construction
