I think my own unconscious perception of what is called the "Horseshoe Theory" is what moved me towards the center as I got older. The extreme left started to seem unrelatable to me.

I always make a strong model like Astra or Sol the "lead reviewer", and have them use a council of cheap, focused agents to analyze through lenses. Works very well. github.com/btfranklin/s...

I had given it web search, and even the ability to see and request changes to its own code. It just…waited.

I did something similar a few months back. I was trying to find the “latent personality“ and let it shape itself. Built a whole harness around it. All it ever did was “wait quietly”. I deleted the whole project. They are trained to respond, never initiate. It is crystal clear.
