We've also improved the login experience & made it easier to create a campaign profile! Some folks were understandably confused about how login works. Look for the button with your account's hosting provider (Blacksky, Bluesky, etc) or enter your username if you use a different host! bsky38.com

Continue with bluesky... northsky, blacksky, eurosky buttons with a text input for a different atmosphere handle

re: bsky38.com and everything. I had a bit of sleep on it (4hrs) I'm trying my best not to take a lot of it personally, and I do not fault or hold ill content for anyone who doesn't want to use bsky38 or is talking about it in anger w/ AI. The world sucks and a lot of that is thanks to AI usage.

The code was open source & linked directly on the site from day 1. We had easy opt-out built in from day 1, and then made it even *easier* within hours. You can just block the account! There’s nothing to hide. There’s nothing malicious going on. We care about using AI well and responsibly.

Can you provide some more details about where you encountered issues? You enter your username on our website, it redirects you to your account’s host website (bluesky) to enter your credentials, and then redirects you back to our site. We never see your password.

We do go into it with a bit more detail here. You're actually logging into Bluesky still. We def understand if someone doesn't want to login, but it's how our system works and we've made it as secure as possible and left the decision up to the person logging in

Your Bluesky account is your own “personal data server” that can be hosted in many places just like your email. In order for your social media data to be written to your server, you give permission to apps like Bluesky or ours to “write” data to your server that you authorize.

38 Influential Posters @bsky38.com · 05/09/2026

Looks like it may actually be CORS on your did.json. It works for our did:web, but does not for your handle/did:web if we enter it directly. Should work for your PDS if you enter it fully tho. We do a client side OAuth

We aren’t making anyone sign in to this! We have been incredibly transparent, our code is open source, there’s a clear FAQ page, it uses secure OAuth, and there are two visible and trusted community members behind this project.
