We just went last week. Concur on Racer 75 and Bad Apple, and try Delirium while you’re in the neighborhood. Also, my 12 and 10 y/o both loved taking a break from the thrill rides to drive the cars on the Blue Ridge Tollway. Made them feel quite grown up.

Slippery like “populism”. When it means the gov’t should work to benefit the citizens, great! But in a democracy, it easily slips to “give people what they want“, no matter what other concerns. That’s the easy way out.

the real questions are whether recent performance is sustainable for Mead, Garcia, Griffin, Nunez, Ruiz (more?). If they trade Garcia, for example, and it turns out they sold high, the concerns about morale will be silenced pretty quickly. But if it turns out he really is this good now... woof.

I guess that's true, but if they do that, the optioned player will have to stay in the minors for 15 days. I'd expect they'll appeal, wait until a time when they can skip his start due to an off day, and leave the roster intact. Your point about it being easier to work around still stands.
