In 9 studies of 34,485 people aged 65 and over, each 0.1 metres per second faster walking (average about 2 miles an hour) went with a 12% lower risk of dying during follow-up. It shows a link; it wasn't designed to show if walking faster adds years. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/212...

A small study at one US centre examined the donated brains of 141 older people (Schneider et al., 2007). Of the 50 who had dementia, more than half had more than one diagnosis in the brain, such as Alzheimer's disease, strokes or Lewy body disease. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/175...

Three Spider-Men pointing at each other. Top: Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia and Lewy body dementia, each convinced one of the others did it. Bottom: In an older brain, more than one of them at once is the usual finding rather than the exception.

I need to also thank our guests who came ready to go & we’re gracious about the short notice as well as my running late with everything because my work has been atrocious the past two weeks.

It was also one of the most involved parties we’ve ever done. And I could not have done it without my wife. She saved the day 100x over. I am so loved.

CNN making this sound more mysterious than it is. It was Yersinia pestis, the plague, the researcher died because she inhaled it into her lungs and developed pneumonic plague, there is no danger but to those directly exposed in the lab. Fear-mongering in the time of global terror is a sick choice.

Ha ha! Sad attempt at humor under stressful times! I think the answer is yes to both parts. Yes, IN’s a good team & has flashes of brilliance. The talent is there, it’s just needs to be consistent & mature. And Yes, IN’s not consistent, so they can look amazing one game & like shit the next.

I didn’t read it that way. A’ja played like a soon to be 5x MVP. As frustrated as I was with appearance of disparity of calls in this game compared with others (I mean Dana got an offensive foul call from

The front office has to let Steph get a post big backup for Boston. And some more defense! Raven was all the floor again tonight and I just love watching her play! So glad she’s getting more minutes. And AB’s defense has improved, but she couldn’t get away from the special whistle.

Very proud of how the Fever competed this year. Despite all the hate the team gets just for being on the same team as Caitlin Clark and playing for Indy it’s crazy.

First team is solid. I’d switch out Parker for Jackson. But otherwise pretty good. I’d like to move Dunn up too but noone to displace. This is hard. I need bench spots!
