Ben Schorr @bschorr.bsky.social · 1hIt's possible that "Copilot as a super app" is the future but they need to solve/accelerate the development of federated connectors to make that practical. That's still one of the biggest gaps between Copilot and Claude/ChatGPT. 000

Ben Schorr @bschorr.bsky.social · 12hOne takeaway from ChatGPT moving from custom GPTs to plugins, you lose saved starter prompts. There are certain prompts I run often with my custom GPTs; I could just click the button to launch them. Ben Schorr @bschorr.bsky.social · 03/10/2026#Copilot Notebooks are supposed to constrain their responses to info in the uploaded references. However, they will also answer based on the AI's training data. If you need to mitigate that, add a custom instruction to the Notebook, telling it to ONLY to answer based on info in the references. 030
Ben Schorr @bschorr.bsky.social · 03/10/2026But I would not expect that we're close to having a good experience for customers with larger baskets of groceries, who would probably still benefit from having an experienced checker handling their order. 100
Ben Schorr @bschorr.bsky.social · 03/10/2026 The idea of using self-checkout as a quick way for people with small baskets to get out of the store, especially during busy times, makes sense. 100
Ben Schorr @bschorr.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Additionally, I would have anticipated that some percentage of my customers would not view it favorably, either correctly identifying that we're shifting some of the work to them, or a concern that we're using self-checkout to reduce headcount in a way that negatively affects the people. 100
