Okitegami Kyōko no Bibōroku (The Memorandum of Kyoko Okitegami) was a lot of fun. It was hard to find, but being a Nisio Isin series, it had an interesting story and colourful characters.

I was spirited away to Okinawa for my birthday this weekend. Has been fun and relaxing, albeit brief. Beautiful islands, and weather is lush - even in winter.

Watched The Woman in the Wall (6 eps). As well as being a thrilling short drama staring the wonderful Ruth Wilson, it introduced me to a dark period of Irish history I was previously unaware of. Daryl McCormack and other supporting cast were also brilliant. Would absolutely recommend it.

Today I ran 30k/m… and then I kept going and ran a complete 42km+ marathon in Mito, Japan. Toughest physical challenge of my life, but incredibly happy to have done it. Thanks to everyone who ran alongside me or came along to cheer and spectate. Incredible energy.

Getting not bad at this 定食 thing.

A meal comprised of 4 dishes and a glass of cold green tea. Includes miso soup, cabbage salad with dressing, rice, and steak, broccoli and pickled ginger. Chopsticks rest on the rice bowl. Dishes are on a wooden table.
