Yeh, his father stole it from slaves. The myth that billionaires are brilliant needs to be exposed. They may be good thieves, but none are winning any academic awards. None of them even think about humanity beyond the household is the consumer. They forgot that households are also the workers.

If you are running your business off a credit card, I'd look at getting an ATO payment plan. Much cheaper interest. The only winners in this are the banks.

There are too many middlemen. The public service is run by a friend's club, so now it's all contracts. So, instead of fixing the bureaucracy, they made it worse. Great plan for some. The public gets less at a higher cost.😞

That's what I meant, the Australian Human Rights Act has been sitting on a shelf for years. I commend the Green guys for pushing it. But the fact that it hasn't been passed yet is a sad indication of the government we have. Having a law, not just an agreement, gives more credence in court decisions.

Cheap dates for donations, for a few advertising dollars, you can threaten any politician these days. "Take these bribes to pay our mates in media, or we run a media campaign against you." Win win for a few, massive loss for the rest. Remove the checks, and we lose the democracy. Bit by bit.

There are zero cost benefits to selling coal. Increasing tax on the wealthy would more than cover royalties. The $24b in tax is a joke when we give $16b back in subsidies. The ultimate cost far outweighs any short-term profits. The cost of severe weather events alone is more. That one is locked in.
