Buddy is holding up the window frame 🤣 #CatsOfBluesky 🐾

A dark brown and grey DMH tuxedo tabby is curled up in a cat bed on a small table in front of a window. His right front paw is extended and pushing against the window frame to his right.

We got Buddy because his former owner married someone who is deathly allergic.

Nice treatment! B&W really enhances the image.

The last time I had magic mushrooms I saw Space Invaders in the air. It was 1979, I was living in the dorms, and our lounge had a Space Invaders table game that always had >90 credits on it (super glue, thread, and a quarter that would always come back up).

Happy #Friyay from Ariel, who has finally deemed me a worthy morning bed. #CatsOfBluesky 🐾

A blonde DSH tabby lies on my lap on a Christmas-themed blanket. Looking straight down, one can only see the top of her head and back. Her front paws are extended out instead of tucked in.

For #ThrowbackThursday, here's a shot from the 2022 #PortlandGP during the Friday practice on August 26. Sorry the livery is not orange and black. #Photography #Motorsports #IndyCar 📷: Nikon D850 w/Tamron 150-600mm

Colton Herta accelerates after exiting the last corner of a lap at Portland international raceway. His car, the number 26 Cambridge Honda, is mostly black with yellow trim and a few blue highlights up front. The car is in focus, but the wheels and background are blurry due to the slow shutter speed. The chain link fence between the camera and the car is spread out to make it almost invisible.

I don't think that's weird at all!

The butterfly and the bees, collecting nectar from the Ivy flowers on the giant Cottonwood tree in our backyard. #Photography 📷: Nikon Z8 w/NIKKOR Z 100-400mm & 1.4TC

Five blooming Ivy flowers, which look like little fireworks explosions, are being visited by a butterfly at the top of the frame with mostly dark brown folded wings and two honey bees at the bottom of the frame.

Per @atlanticbirding.bsky.social, today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is #Black&White, any shot in black and white, so here's a slightly blurry raven in flight against a grey sky.

A raven in flight with its wings on a downward stroke. Its left wing feathers are slightly motion blurred.

Back in my day, we had only printed PRNGs.

A couple of hours left on #WhiskersWednesday in the PNW, so here's a shot of Buddy's magnificent whiskers as he looks up from Ariel's bed, which he has taken over for the morning shift, since Ariel won't stop bugging him when he's in Mama's seat. #CatsOfBluesky 🐾

A dark brown and grey DMH tuxedo tabby is curled up in a small cat bed with his head lifted and looking just above the camera at my face. He has a fluorescent green collar with a translucent white Tile holder attached. The bed is on a small table in front of a window, so the morning light is making his green right eye look blue, while his left eye is in shade. He has a dark red nose with a white spot on top. Just below his nose are long, majestic whiskers, curving downward.

From @robcrank68.bsky.social, today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #BestOfTheMonth, so here's a Cooper's Hawk in our backyard — and the reason Buddy only goes outside on a leash and escorted. 🪶 📷: Nikon Z8 w/NIKKOR Z 100-400mm & 1.4TC
