Such sad news for me this morning. Soon after I moved to Hastings in 2000 I attended a diploma course in creative writing. One of my dear friends from that group died early this morning. Her death was not unexpected as she'd been very ill. Rest in peace dear friend

The Hastings Book Fair was good fun. Tomorrow I'm talking at Rye Festival about my novel 'Longshore Drift' and on Wednesday I'm off to France, maybe Italy. Besides that I'm screaming in in frustration at the news, our power supply (voltage issues) & when I put the refill in my deodorant I broke it!
