I was very much not lucky. Attacked twice - both attacks resulted in routs and the Soviets followed up with attacks of their own. Ouch ouch ouch ouch. Xinhua out here making excuses best they can for my tactical incompetence. And that's the game. My units are battered and the Soviets too strong.

In response, the Soviet group at the northern VP hits my center line and wipes out two units - too bad only the Soviets suffer VP losses for unit casualties. So, looking at the results... do I feel lucky?

The AI left a 1-1 armor by the VP - I demolish it and gain VP for wiping out a Soviet unit. Victory is in my grasp, if I can just hold out 2 more turns...

And now that the MLRS support has arrived, the Soviet armor took the northern VP. If I can hold the southern VP for 4 more turns I can eke out a minor victory - more if I can do some damage

still, the situation looks dire. And those rockets are coming any turn now to make things worse.

Still, the Chinese are definitely giving as good as they're getting (and rolling pretty lucky dice rolls)
