I was so touched by all the kind messages I received yesterday. It has given me a lot of encouragement for what will now be a big swing: My next animated project will be the first episode of a gothic horror interpretation of the Nutcracker called "Clara and the Below."

Working on my personal project when I can! I love exploring different parts of Cathedral+ ✨ I am still currently freelancing but I would love to be considered for full time work in the future! Either Vis Dev in feature productions or as a BG painter in TV productions

Nostalgia is a toxic impulse but also I miss the time when tech trends were things like "let's put everything in a translucent colored plastic case" instead of "let's add software to everything that lies and also accelerates climate change"

Folks call your Senators now!! A ban on any state laws on GenAi for 10 YEARS is gonna do unthinkable harm! For those of you wondering what to say here are two posts you can use to build your own script (use alt script to cut and paste) Need to find your representatives? Here you go: 5calls.org

User Zachary Berger recommends the following script: "I'm a constituent in the congressperson's district.
Al regulation is life or death for a lot of the Congressperson's constituents in creative industries, please make sure the section in the budget reconciliation bill banning Al regulation doesn't pass."

User Karla Ortiz gives information on the bill so you can point your senators where to look:

Call your representatives! Tell them just yesterday (R) Congressman Guthrie added a new text to the Budget Reconciliation bill to BAN GenAi regulation in the states for 10 years!
Hell, point
them to the specific section:
TITLE IV-ENERGY AND
COMMERCE (Part II: Al section, (c) moratorium)
