I am dyslexic. Contrary to popular belief, I am not a bad reader. I am a very good reader. However, I am also a very slow reader. By the time I was in high school, I could not finish a lot of my reading assignments by the deadlines. Graphic novel adaptations saved me.

being in animation, its not from AI. the streaming bubble bursting cuz everyone hopped on the grain cuz it undermined unions, less regulations and more mergers are what lead to the loss. AI is just what people think but it started way before that

Pixar receives a $26.2 Million Tax credit to keep film jobs in CA, and immediately lays off 10% of its work force, after making over a billion from Toy Story 5, the highest-grossing film of 2026.

Excited to be heading to #annecyfilmfestival! I’ll have two projects with me, To the Other Side feature & Aurora short film, happy to not shut up about either. Looking forward to meeting old and new friends, particularly anyone in the animated documentary space. If this is you, let’s connect 🤝

Teaser for our film! 🫶 To the Other Side tells the story of a Tiger and his older sister, Rabbit, who leave home to play a game. To win, they must travel across endless lands and make it to the finish line, but the obstacles along the way are more dangerous than they imagined. #indieanimation

I really NEED more people to watch “Orb: on the movements of the Earth”, it got buried in Netflix and there’s no dub, so probably why it had less attention, but it’s fantastic. It’ll change your life 🫵

I read Persepolis in high school; we had one copy in the library. At the time, it blew me away that you could make comics with so much heart like this, about memory, displacement, conflict, etc. I've read and watched the movie plenty of times. Will forever be grateful for all Marjane Satrapi gave us

The craziest thing about the AI boosters is when they say “you can’t do this without AI” “I can’t make an event flyer without AI” when we all remember just 3 years ago how we all got along fine without it.

cant ever pinpoint when #indieanimationday actually is, but anyway here’s something I’ve been doing: Aurora is a horror short film about violence, displacement and terror surrounding mining and mega projects in Latin America, with a monster twist. Like all these projects, still hunting for funds 🥹

Been slowly working on Aurora, a short film about violence, displacement, and terror surrounding mining and mega projects in Latin America, with a monster twist. It’s been a sloooow process; finding funds is always the main problem, but slowly it’s getting there. It’ll get made, for sure!

I love when grants make you create a new reel, a whole ass video essay that could've been a written paragraph, just to never even watch them and turn you down. Everything has analytics now. Like...if you're going to make people do all of that, at least pretend? 🤷‍♂️

Since I've been out of the industry for a while now, I'm gonna be real disrespectful here: I absolutely despise the current direction that Pixar's leadership has taken in the last few years. The nerfing and how dirty they've done the current directors lately. Like--the fuck happened there?
