The Nightmare King from Little Nemo is the first thing I remember being genuinely terrified of, to the point that despite hyperfixating on it as a kid, I HAD to have a parent in the room with me whenever he appeared.

Y'know it's kinda wild that despite being absolutely obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog growing up, I never once tried making my own Sonic OC. So I said "fuck it" and finally made one! More info about him in the alt text.

Binged the first 4 eps of Kamen Rider MY-TH tonight. That first ep was a seriously rough intro with that heavy use of low-budget cgi, and I'm super glad they haven't done much more of it. Bad cgi isn't new to KR, but it shines so much brighter when it sticks to practical effects and minimum cgi imho

Digimon Beatbreak was a mixed bag to the very end, but in my opinion it's still honestly one of the best anime we've gotten out of the franchise in 20 years. I have my gripes, but I still enjoyed it, and I hope this crew doesn't get immediately shelved like every other non-Adventure crew.
