Y'know it's kinda wild that despite being absolutely obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog growing up, I never once tried making my own Sonic OC. So I said "fuck it" and finally made one! More info about him in the alt text.

Freki the Wolf, my totally original Sonic OC Do Not Steal. He's a grey wolf with black markings on the tips of his ears and tail, black "socks" on his hands and feet, and a red stripe on his head. He's wearing orange racing goggles, a black and red puff vest, white gloves with yellow tongues, and red and black boots with gold plates on their tops. Binged the first 4 eps of Kamen Rider MY-TH tonight. That first ep was a seriously rough intro with that heavy use of low-budget cgi, and I'm super glad they haven't done much more of it. Bad cgi isn't new to KR, but it shines so much brighter when it sticks to practical effects and minimum cgi imho

Digimon Beatbreak was a mixed bag to the very end, but in my opinion it's still honestly one of the best anime we've gotten out of the franchise in 20 years. I have my gripes, but I still enjoyed it, and I hope this crew doesn't get immediately shelved like every other non-Adventure crew.

Gonna be real honest here, this thing looks like ass. I know it's a cheap-ass McDonald's toy, but this is a stark disparity in quality compared to the Godzilla x Hello Kitty collab that JUST finished. Like that is a wild drop in quality 😬

What's an obscure video game you remember playing at one point that most people would be like "never heard of it"? The most obscure game I can think of is Dark Rift for N64. It was a really shitty bare-bones fighting game and has the noteriety of being the first ever 60fps game on the N64 lol.

Local Half-Price Books had the goods today! A Pathfinder GM's Screen for CHEAP cheap, the daggum Pathfinder Beta Playtest book, and Final Fantasy 9 baybee!!!

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Beta Playtest rulebook by Jason Bulmahn. This was released in 2008 at Gen Con and was the second playtest ever released by Paizo and the very first physically published book for Pathfinder. It's a super cool part of Pathfinder's history!

Gigan is a weird cross between a featherless chicken and a fish or lizard. He's bipedal with greenscales and a yellow belly with a sawblade protruding from it, three giant sail-like fins on his back(two of which let him fly), and two arms that end in giant metal scythes. His head is the most chicken-like with a metal beak but also two sharp tooth-like mandibles on either side. Finally picked up and have been playing Digimon Story: Time Stranger for the last few days, and while the gameplay, expanded roster and QoL improvements are all great, I gotta say it's severely lacking in pretty much every other aspect compared to CyberSleuth/Hackers Memory so far. 🧵

Crucially, the GLOVE has limitations, chief among them that for the device to work effectively and deliver its restraining pain shock, it must come into contact with the subject's bare skin. According to Compliant Technologies, the gloves won't work through dry clothing or thick hair. The gloves will work, however, if the subject is wearing thin, wet clothing, such as soaked T-shirts or blouses. The GLOVE also does not like being dunked in water and will likely be rendered inoperable if this happens.

I won 1st place for an infomatic poster I made in my AgSci class in High School at a local county fair. They gave me a little 1st Place ribbon and cut me a check for six whole dollars! Less than half the price of a ticket to said fair lmao

Not to pull away from the main message, but telling your kid "I would kill for you" also isn't the affirmation of love you think is. It's terrifying, especially if they're old enough to understand the consequences, and can affect their willingness to confide in you about something serious like SA.

During the original run, I worked my tail off doing chores to save up enough to buy it, but when my parents went to get it, it was sold out and never restocked. I was devastated. When I saw he was getting rereleased, I swore I'd get one for that kid who worked so hard. And here he is!
