Having a wonderful Hobbit birthday. Spent the morning with friends and playing Stardew and now I am marathoning The Hobbit movies with my love with lots of snacks.

Yes angry guest please tell me more about how you've come to this 29 year old hotel for 36 years and how dare we close the rooftop pool because of an icy deck after an intense snowstorm and not have Christmas decorations up as quickly as you want them. Someone save me from work :/

The joys of working on a holiday (not one I care about mind you other than family time and food) at a hotel are that people decide the weather is your fault and them not getting their way is you choosing to try and wreck their day personally and that they should obviously speak to you like a dog.

Took a nice walk on the lakewalk behind my job after work today. It is finally sunny and in the 60s here!

Photo of a white and black lighthouse at the end of a concrete pier overlooking Lake Superior. The sky is blue and mostly clear. There are a few puffy white clouds.

Photo of a human with transition glasses wearing a green hoodie taking a selfie in front of a lake.

So far the new job is not bad at all. Well staffed, not an overwhelming amount of work, and a good boss. Honestly the only complaint so far is the pay but honestly I'm just happy to have a job period right now. Also I'm not the only non-binary person there!

So if anyone who follows me here happens to be waiting for my streaming hiatus to end here is some info on that. I plan to start streaming regularly again once my PC is up here in the new apartment. That will come when I can afford to have it sent, I'll notify ya'll here when that happens.

Hadn't posted this yet but this is my vision board for this year.

A vision board with multiple images in polaroid picture boxes and some in a photo sheet picture box. An image of typing on a pc, one of the cover of Chappel Roan's The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess album, a skyline shot of Duluth, MN, an image of a group playing a board game, an image of a couple kissing with a handfasting cord around their hands, an image of food items on a cutting board, a d20, people on a hiking trail, and travel and coffee themed clipart.

Just got done with a second round interview & a tour of the office I would be working in. Here's hoping I get it because that would put me to work this coming Monday! Hopefully I made a good enough impression! And as a plus this would be for a company who helps those with insecure housing.

So as of today we have an apartment secured for our move to get out of the south ahead of inauguration. Now we could really use funds to make this quick transition easier and guarantee we can stay on track. Any help is greatly appreciated! #MutualAid #MutualSky #HelpSky ko-fi.com/briarbrews/g...

We are very close to securing an apartment. This would have us moving in January 2nd, so now our biggest concern is the money for the move and things we will need as we can't move most of our current furniture. Any help is appreciated! #MutualSky #MutualAid ko-fi.com/briarbrews/g...

Full disclosure is I have awful credit and I need to move to a new state and that makes finding an apartment very hard. I'll more than likely need to be able to offer a large security deposit/offer to pay the first few months rent at the get go. Any help is appreciated! ko-fi.com/briarbrews/g...

Recently finished a perfection run on Stardew (modded) and I'm pretty happy with how the farm ended up looking. Note: This farm layout is Sunflower Acres and you can get it on Nexus. #StardewValley

Image of a custom Stardew Valley fam map with many hills, rivers, and waterfalls. There are two crop fields, one below the farm house and one below the greenhouse. There are 5 fish ponds scattered around the farm, one coop, one barn, a mill, two sheds, and a slime hutch. There are cute furniture pieces placed around to make sitting areas. The warp obelisks and golden clock are in the right corner. Using DaisyNiko's Earthy recolor and many mods for buildings and foliage.

It is isolating to mask in the area I live in but I know it is worth it, & I would rather deal with the dirty looks than have to live with knowing I harmed someone by passing something onto them. Today while I work through the panic & anxiety my mask will remind me that I can at least do something.

I'm trying to get more confident in my art so I wanted to share one of my favorite sketches I've done. Also I love the disaster lesbian that Marcille is.

A handrawn iteration of a fair skinned elf with a panicked look on her face in a sketchbook. Character is Marcille from Delicious in Dungeon.
