The trade deficit last month was $36 billion larger than the Biden average. Trump's tariffs have failed.

Private ownership of the gains and public absorption of the disruption is the Republican M.O.. That's what America voted for.

Normalization is treating the president stealing from taxpayers to buy campaign ads and offer bribes to voters like it's just another day. Normalization is reacting with "won't work" or "polls poorly," and not "resign immediately or you'll be removed, we exist because of a revolution against that."

Every time the @cnbc.com morning crew pretends to celebrate the career of Rick Santelli, I smile along with them. It's a happy moment for us all. Goodbye Rick! It was a propaganda fueled career full of inhumane and anti-American nonsense! youtu.be/oHaSTRXVPpE?...

Wouldn't that be great? If someone wanted the market to go up, and wanted a sign of a bottom, you've just expressed it.

Just catching up on the Eric Schmitt-Jack Smith spectacle. If the DNC can’t make a great election ad out of this, the leadership should be summarily fired. And Schmitt should resign from the Senate in shame. (He won’t.)

Can you lay more of that out? I don't see these companies trading at absurdly rich valuations, and I have to follow the charts. If there's a knock to the negative, I have a singular monthly tool that shows at least a pause over the next 9 months. But monthly looks can often resolve higher.

Agreed. As for ruling out a bubble: 1. Look at what a bubble looks like. Is this even remotely close? (technicals) 2. Look at fundamentals to supplement the technicals.
Technicals. No current Nasdaq bubble.Fundamentals. No current Nasdaq bubble.

I've looked at hundreds of charts a day for many years. The chart says the $QQQ will beat $SPY going forward, unless we pull back into the box. And it looks nothing like a bubble... not one iota. By the way, I tend to be extremely conservative. I save this type of talk for rare occasions.

You're also looking at the fact that today's NASDAQ looks absolutely nothing even remotely close to a bubble. You have a huge basing pattern with an inverted Head and shoulders, a measured move much higher, a fake out, then a real breakout, then a test of the breakout, now a surge higher.

I got bad news for the guy. I was looking at charts this weekend and saw the most bullish chart I've ever seen, and it was for the NASDAQ 100. It was a ratio chart, so it could just be that the s&p drops more than the NASDAQ, but the NASDAQ 100 has a great ratio against the SP500 going forward.

This is the comment I recall after I had stated that oil might've peaked even though things might get worse (6 months ago). bsky.app/profile/rory... If I recall from memory, oil had a few non-us trading hours where oil was higher, but oil had peaked in the US. And the market had in fact bottomed.

Did you just use that like in a totally opposite way that it would be used because you don't like biden? This whole thing is that none of us actually saw him avert war. We didn't see him avert war but it happened, it's what he actually did. He averted war and you didn't see it.

For like 5 minutes? My whole life: the GOP wrecks people, then buries them in disinformation about Democrats until they vote Republican again. Billionaires and bigots keep convincing everyone else to vote against their own interests. Only real fix would be news standards. Not happening.

DoorDash spent $1.4M trying to stop Zohran Mamdani from becoming mayor. This week's historic $131.5M enforcement action against DoorDash for underpaying NYC delivery workers shows why. Yet another reminder that the only thing that can beat organized money is organized people.

In a wage-theft settlement, DoorDash now has to pay its workers around 100 times what it spent trying to beat Zohran Mam
