If the descent rate stabilized at some point and the plane did not stall, the plane's wings are still producing lift, so not necessarily. In a circular spiraling descent, you can most certainly maintain positive G's (in fact this technique is used for emergency descents for loss of cabin pressure).

This is a photograph of the edge of one of Saturn's rings, looking down from above. Those spiky dark shapes are shadows. Shadows of giant towers of ice and dust grains clumped together that rise up to three *kilometres* above the 10-m thick rings.

A series of bands cross the image from left to right, brighter at the bottom and darkening towards the top. A band of empty space is at the top of the image. About a quarter down from the top is a complex pattern of jagged, spiky shadows cast onto the rings. The icy towers casting the shadows are seen here at a highly oblique angle.

it's great to see a cat pitcher throwing out a ceremonial first pitch. i have to imagine he's got a solid fastball if they're letting him out there, but he's going to get clobbered if he doesn't develop a quality breaking ball. i hope this is something they're helping him with.
