There's only alt text on the first picture, but all pictures are some variation of my dog. She was a confident, stoic, black and tan Miniature Pinscher. She loved food, naps, her family, field trips to the lake, and was generally unphased by most things. She was a good dog, and a great friend.

My little best friend passed away today. She was a better friend than I could ever have deserved. This post isn't for attention, or sympathy; it's just a tribute to the best little soul I'll probably ever know. If this makes its way into your feed, I hope she helps make your day a little better.

This is my friend when she was just a puppy. She is a black and tan Miniature Pinscher, and when she was this little, she was so small that she could sleep rolled up in the hem of my t-shirt.

All the rest of the pictures, and the pictures after, are some variation of her, sometimes in a costume, or hoodie, sometimes sleeping, or just being.

She was loved.

I couldn’t tell if this was someone's trash, or an avant-garde art installation, so I took a couple of pictures and moved on.

The store must have been selling a mix of old and new stock when I bought my moving boxes, because the side printing is different on one, and only one, of them. It has an extra check box for "A load of bricks". What did I unknowingly pack it with?
