A recent survey found that 92% of U.S. adults have delayed or avoided medical care due to high costs. Meanwhile, a new study from Yale estimates that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year. If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have universal healthcare.

In Louisiana and likely Alabama, actual, cast votes are going to be tossed out as officials speed ahead with new (or previously enjoined) maps. This is such an extreme use case for the Purcell principle that the court ignoring it here signifies that it was always a made-up toy, not law.

When Utah’s Supreme Court overturned Republican attempt to redistrict they responded by expanding their state Supreme Court. The assignment for @abigailspanberger.com & VA Dems couldn’t be more clear - expand VA’s Supreme Court (in addition to passing immediate legislation to redistrict anyway).

Everyone should be prepared for the current Supreme Court to strike down proportional representation bills (at the state or federal levels) and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act with bans on partisan gerrymandering and new pre-clearance. You need a Supreme Court management strategy too.
