The tone is kind of all over the place. But it was a gateway horror flick for me as a cowardly kid. I remember the poster terrified me so much I was relieved it was a comedy.

Had a chance to see FORGOTTEN ISLAND. Please go and support this movie in theaters! It's an absolutely awesome animated film - one of the best original animated features in a long time. Amazing visuals, an eye-popping fantasy world ... but also SO much heart. Bonus: full of great 90's references!

Did my annual rewatch of "The Lion In Winter". Anyone who wants to be a #screenwriter should view this regularly. William Goldman (rightfully) is venerated for his Oscared "All The President's Men", but his brother James Goldman leaves him in the dirt with THIS staggering Oscar script. #scriptsky

We dragged our broken bodies to see Forgotten Island and it was great, you should see it! I always want to push for authentic emotion and relationships, and this movie has it in spades. We need more movies with heart like this. Also I laughed out loud at some of the things that got approved in this.

Yeah, it felt like Sci-Fi Star Wars. Didn’t have enough of the cliffhanger aspect. I thought Kevin Anderson’s Jedi Academy books captured that stuff better.
